Backing up is just plain dangerous. Trying to watch all angles, most of which you cannot even see, proves almost impossible time after time. Now, there is a way to safely back up warning you is you are approaching an obstacle before its too late. This reverse backing system installs in your rear bumper with a screen in the cab. The backup sensors install either inside the bumper or on brackets hanging just below it. They are connected to a control module inside the cab of the vehicle. When you place your vehicle is reverse, this unit is activated. There are a few different type of kits. Reverse backing systems with LCD screen and audible only backing system. Reverse backing kits are offered for trucks, suv's and cars alike. The unit with proximity screen will notify you with a graphic how close you are to your next obstacle. It will also emit a beep which gets closer in pulse as you near an object. The audible reverse warning kit will entire the audible only beep which gets closer in pulse as you near an object. Once you are within 5 feet of an object, the sound will become steady warning the driver of potential problems. This kit works by sending out radar pulses. The amount of time it takes for the pulse to get to and from the sensor determines its distance. The brain of the reverse backing system take these numbers and makes calculations telling you where the item may be. This helps you stop faster, before the problem can ever begin. Each day thousands and thousands of accidents occur in reverse. These range from property damage to bodily injuries. Stop the problem before it becomes one!
