Q: What are Shaved Door Handles?
A: When customizing a car or truck you shave the door handles off for that smooth look. Now you must have a way to open the doors and that is what a Shaved Door Handle Kit does.
Q: How does it work?
A: The Shaved Door Handle controller has channel outputs that can control a solenoid. The Solenoid is placed inside of the door and attached to existing door handle lever inside the door. Once the channel is activated by the controller the solenoid then pulls the latch open releasing the door.
Q: What are Door Poppers for?
A: A Door Popper is a spring loaded device that is compressed when you close the door. When the Solenoid on the Shaved Handle Kit is released to door popper will push the door open.
Q: Can I control other things with the Shaved Door Handle Controller?
A: Yes. The Controller has 7 channels meaning that you can use one channel per door and use the remaining channels for trunk release, power window control, remote start or anything that will accept a negative output.
