Security Features: The Commando 520-S car alarm offers security and convenience in one package. The system will protect your vehicle in several ways. When vibration is detected via the included shock sensor the siren will sound with 6 tones continuously for one minute. If the doors, trunk or hood are opened while the system is armed the alarm will sound as well. A dual zone motion sensor can also be added. The Motion sensor is a great feature for convertible cars protecting against intruders when the top is left down. To prevent against theft the system includes a starter disable relay and output. This feature will defeat the starter signal of your vehicle when the alarm is armed. For added security you can also add a car alarm pager to the system. The pager will notify you at greater distances if your vehicle is violated. Convenience Features: The 520-S includes keyless entry. This will allow you to lock and unlock your car doors on vehicles equipped with power door locks (relays optional for vehicles with positive door locks). The remote trunk release feature is handy as well allowing you to open your cars trunk via the remote control (relay and factory trunk release is required). The car finder feature is also included allowing you to find your car in a crowded parking lot by pressing the remote control. When the car finder feature is activated your alarm siren will sound and the parking lights on your car will flash.
